RUBAL Foundation is a voluntary organization deeply committed to uplifting urban and rural-tribal migrants, unorganised workers and marginalized communities. We
recognize the indispensable role of migrants and unorganised workers from the urban and rural-tribal regions in driving India’s urban economy and powering essential economic activities. Despite their pivotal contributions, this labour force often faces neglect, lacking the recognition, rights, and entitlements they rightfully deserve and remain precarious, vulnerable and excluded.
RUBAL Foundation, by adopting a research-driven, rights-based, and holistic approach is committed to empowering Potential Migrants at their source locations (villages) and Existing Migrants at their destination locations (cities), ensuring they receive the support and opportunities they need to thrive.
We strive to address the root causes of vulnerability among migrants and unorganised workers, by making them visible, creating sustainable livelihoods, developing community leaders at both source and destination places, advocating for rights and dignity, and fostering a more inclusive and equitable society for everyone.
