Resource Centre for Unorganised & Migrant Workers

This centre is dedicated to supporting migrant and unorganised workers by facilitating access to social security, entitlements, and essential awareness. It serves as a trusted space for information, registration, and documentation support—helping workers claim their rights and improve their well-being. Through the centre, workers are enrolled in key welfare schemes such as BOCW, e-Shram, and PM-JAY etc. and are regularly oriented on their entitlements and available protections.

SkillSetu

Bridge of Skills

This programme designed to equip individuals—especially migrant women, youth, and unorganised workers—with practical skills for better and sustainable livelihoods. Acting as a bridge between aspiration and opportunity, the programme offers hands-on training, digital literacy, and market-relevant skilling that enable migrants and unorganised workers to break free from low-paying or precarious jobs and transition into dignified, resilient forms of employment or self-employment.
  • ‘RiseHer’
As a part of SkillSetu, RiseHer initiative equips migrant and unorganised women workers with Non-traditional skills to expand their livelihood opportunities and achieve economic independence. With a strong gender lens, it empowers women to break social, psychological and economic barriers, access better jobs, negotiate fair wages, and demand safer, more equitable working conditions.

Udyami

Nurturing Entrepreneurship for Migrant and Unorganised Workers

This programme empowers women migrant and unorganised workers through entrepreneurial training and support for sustainable micro-enterprises. In collaboration with partners, it provides skills development, mentorship, and market access—enabling participants to build viable businesses and achieve economic self-reliance within vulnerable migrant and urban poor communities.

Migrants Collective

It is a leadership development programme that empowers individuals from migrant communities to raise collective awareness and organise around shared challenges. By fostering solidarity and mutual support, the initiative strengthens their bargaining power and improves access to essential services such as healthcare, legal aid, and training.

Climate Migrants

This programme specifically addresses the challenges faced by communities and individuals displaced due to climate change. It supports affected migrant workers through livelihood adaptation, skill development, and social protection—empowering them to rebuild their lives with dignity while fostering resilience and inclusion in climate-vulnerable regions.
Rising Heat, Rising Care
This is a focused response to the urgent challenges posed by climate change and extreme heat, particularly affecting vulnerable migrant construction workers, rag-pickers, and brick kiln workers. The campaign raises awareness, promotes adaptive livelihoods, provides Summer Relief Kits, and strengthens social protection measures to safeguard health and livelihoods. By mobilising communities and stakeholders, ‘Rising Heat, Rising Care’ fosters resilience, care, and solidarity amid rising environmental risks.

This centre is dedicated to nurturing indigenous knowledge, traditional skills, and contemporary learning to empower rural-tribal talent and foster sustainable development.
  • CRTD Centre (Career and Rural Talent Development Centre) Under the CRTD Centre, we are committed to empowering rural-tribal school students, dropouts, and migrant children by providing comprehensive career orientation and guidance. Our programmes help these young individuals explore diverse career paths, develop essential skills, and build the confidence needed to pursue higher education and meaningful employment opportunities. By bridging the information gap and broadening horizons, the CRTD Centre strives to create a brighter future for adolescents from underserved communities.
